Spanish entrepreneurs Tais Pérez, Lluc Martí, Gema Hassen-Bey and Gracia Sánchez del Real were invited by the US Embassy. And the State Department to participate in the World Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) held for the sixth consecutive year and this year took place in Nairobi, Kenya.

The summit comes as an initiative of President Barack Obama in 2009 to annually hold a meeting of entrepreneurs, young entrepreneurs, investors, universities and foundations that would serve as a platform for the exchange of ideas and innovative projects. This year there was a special session prior to the summit, on 24 July, focusing on women and young people.
